Over five generations a vast repertoire of treasured compositions have been created and passed on through the Gurukul tradition.

The Gurukul tradition originates from India and is based on a life-long relationship between the teacher and student. The concept of Gurukul embodies the living and learning relationship between teacher and student, signifying the complete emotional,  spiritual and intellectual surrender of the aspiring disciple to the guru.
